About Me (or how the heck did I end up here?)
I retired from a 20 year career as a Coast Guard aviator. My last tour of duty was in
      Washington, DC at Coast Guard headquarters. I was one of the few people
responsible for deciding where our tax dollars were being spent on aviation-related
programs. One day I noticed a rather large sum of money being spent on a program
that was obviously not in our best interest. Further investigation led me to believe
that the money being spent on that program was being used as a "payback" to a
congressman for lobbying for our cause. The work on that program was going to be
performed in his district. I was FLOORED! The Coast Guard were the good guys.
Why would we ever need to stoop to such nonsense?
On that day, I submitted my request for retirement. I was approached by several government
contractors and was a shoe-in for a high paying job...trying to take money from the
government. No thanks!



I decided I wanted to work for myself and started a career in real estate. My career took off!
I watched over the past few years as our constitutional rights eroded and were infringed upon.
I discovered that handguns were already banned in DC (and Obama thought that was fine), that the government was attempting to eavesdrop with little oversight, and that emminent domain meant the government could take your home to build new condominiums on your land. Next, I saw our watchdog, the media, fail to report and investigate government corruption because of an ideological agreement. The final straw was when they were not questioning the potential
president of our country on small things such as, a total lack of accomplishments, a
lifelong list of questionable associates, and in the end, his expressed life-long
commitment to a Marxist philosophy.



I began making videos on YouTube to expose these faults and issues. I found that
many other patriots were also just as frustrated; from disenfranchised Hillary
supporters to philosophical conservatives like myself. The Hillary supporters' eyes
were opened to the anger, hatred, and sexist views as they witnessed the assassination of Hillary's campaign. It exposed the far left for who they were and also exposed
the complicit media to them.



After finding such a great support network and making many friends on YouTube, I thought I
would give us all a place where we could work together for our nation and our future. I dedicate
this site to all Americans who no longer have representation. Those who are currently living in
a state so blue that their vote really does NOT count or where voter fraud is so rampant that
their vote is cancelled by dead or non-existant persons. Also, for those people who's cries go unheard by the national media and whose concerns are ignored and downplayed. THE Common Sense Zone is for you. Please use the forums to engage your fellow Americans, friends, and patriots, expose the corruption in our government, educate one another, and fight as an online info-militia to retake this great land!

Me with Everett Alvarez, Jr.  Mr. Alvarez is the author of "Chained Eagle" and "Code of Conduct."  These books describe his 8-year captivity in Vietnam as a POW and also his life upon returning to the U.S.  He was the longest held POW in Vietnam and served the second longest period as a POW in history.  He is a good friend of John McCain and knew him at the Hanoi Hilton.
